Don’t get us wrong, we are happy you understand how chiropractic can help you through an injury, but it is our opinion that a paradigm shift is necessary.

Identifying oral concerns before they fully develop into larger issues is convenient: it avoids pain and discomfort, but also prevents expensive, invasive surgeries. People who regularly get checkups are less likely to ever deal with a serious dental issue that requires complicated interventions.

Now, we understand patients tend to think that once you start chiropractic care, you have to go two times per week for the rest of your life. At Renovo Health & Wellness, we do believe in lifetime chiropractic care for everyone, but the goal for us is to get to the point where we only need to see you every 1-3 months depending on your goals, lifestyle, occupation, genetic predisposition and a number of other factors.

 The foundation of chiropractic is supporting the nervous system. Your nervous system is your body’s electrical wiring: it carries signals from the body to the brain, providing information about the surrounding environment, and signals from the brain to every cell, tissue, organ system and gland, providing guidance and instructions on what to do, every second of your life. The nervous system helps us adapt to every circumstance by interpreting our internal and external environment and preparing us to respond accurately.

Your body naturally and innately strives for balance and health. A small paper cut on a finger does not require any intentional effort from you: your body will respond with an incredibly complex cascade of events that will heal the cut in a very short amount of time. This is called homeostasis and is defined as a self-regulating process by which biological systems maintain stability while adjusting to the changing external conditions. The nervous system regulates these biochemical responses and chiropractic promotes optimal nervous system health and function.
